Strengthening Media Content Regulation

Over time, movie content has taken a disturbing turn towards increased graphicness, sexualisation, substance abuse, and debauchery. The ratings designed to safeguard children from such material seem to be growing more lenient, failing in their duty to protect young minds.

This concerning trend has led to desensitisation, normalising violence and sex, and contributing to a significant rise in crime and antisocial behaviour among our youth.

British Media Standards Council (BMSC):
A New Television, Movie, Games And Literature Regulator

We firmly believe that the current state of the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) is compromised, influenced by powerful studio interests as well a security and intelligence agencies, who prioritise financial gain and powerful subliminal messaging over responsible age restrictions, and who have a hidden, sinister agenda.

To address this pressing issue, our first step will be to dismantle the BBFC and replace it with a new British Media Standards Council (BMSC) which will uphold the highest moral values and exercise a genuine commitment to safeguarding the well-being of our children and society. Additionally, we will initiate a rigorous re-evaluation of every film released since the establishment of the BBFC, ensuring accurate and appropriate reclassification. By restoring integrity and transparency to television, film, game and graphic novel content regulation, we will protect the innocence of our children, promote a healthy cultural environment, and combat the harmful influences that threaten our communities.

“The BBFC is compromised and unfit for purpose.
They have contributed directly to societal decline.”
